Student education loans don’t really need to be payed back do they? Student education loans apparently have one of the highest default rates associated with a demographic group. Excessive actually, the banks where I live won’t manage the loans, unless the government guarantees the loan is going to be payed back. Of course the government can’t really guarantee that a student is going to be responsible enough to repay the loans, they just guarantee the they will pay the bank for that loan, if the student bails out on them. This of course eliminates the cost and hassle for that bank of chasing down students after the fact. It happens pretty often, and many of the instances when a loan isn’t payed back, and the the federal government tries chasing down a student, they are not very successful within their attempt.
Hey That’s My Money
So that all those loans that aren’t payed back by students, are really payed back by the taxpayers. Those self same taxpayers, which are already heavily subsidizing a students four years or more of academia bliss. I’m sure lots of people can not be happy about that. Imagine the nerve of those students spending all their student education loans on beer kegs and frat parties, once they really should be studying being doctors, lawyers, writers, along with other depraved members of society. Meanwhile, we are slaving away in 9-to-5-hell, spending money on all of this. Secretly were all just jealous, and wish we were them. Of course I’m allowing my writing flamboyancy to overwhelm me somewhat because I exaggerate. Most students with student education loans, work hard at school, and frequently hold down part time jobs to support themselves. And frequently in programs that won’t using them as high paid professionals like doctors and lawyers. I suspect most of the doctors and lawyers do repay their loans in the long run, simply because they possess the financial means to achieve this. But how about those other important careers that do not pay a lot of money, but nonetheless come with an important devote our society. Maybe something might be done about student education loans to enhance those careers and society over time.
Don’t Worry, Keep your Money
Student loans ought to be liberated to those and really can’t manage otherwise. There are several students, who cannot afford to pay back the loans even if they’ve graduated. And maybe that’s OK. I’m certain many of the lesser paid careers that they find themselves in just don’t pay a great deal. And often those careers continue to be valuable to society in general. Social workers, and jobs in the arts spring to mind. These professions in many cases are viewed as less then “necessary” careers by many “serious” professions. But, they are necessary, plus they should be supported whenever possible. Maybe tuition for these society improving careers ought to be free, just to encourage those attempting to really make a difference the opportunity for any good education. Student education loans would obvously be reduced for these students, and also the cost of collecting those loans reduced too. Saving the taxpayers money, and making the world and society a much better place simultaneously.
